Multimode optical fiber with numerical aperture NA=0.12 has lightguiding core with gradually variable refractive index from the core’s center to the edges.
Graded-index profile of the core enables significant decrease of the intermodal dispersion.
0.22 NA Step Index Core
Fused Silica Core & Glass Clad
Multimode optical fiber with numerical aperture NA=0.22 has lightguiding core made of pure silica glass and reflective cladding doped with a fluorine.
The core of this fiber has a constant refractive index.
0.36 NA Step Index Core
Fused Silica Core & Silicone Clad
Multimode optical fiber with numerical aperture NA=0.36 has pure silica glass core and reflective silicone cladding. The fiber has step-index profile.
Application of polymeric cladding provides a higher numerical aperture.
0.45 NA Step Index Core
Fused Silica Core & Hard Polymer Clad
Application of polymeric acrylate reflective cladding provides a higher numerical aperture NA comparing with fibers with a silicone cladding.
Acrylate reflective cladding increases numerical aperture to NA=0.45.
The multimode fibers can be terminated with multimode SC, ST, LC or SMA type connectors. For high-power light transfer we apply special High Power SMA905 type of connectors.
We offer bundles manufactured on the basis of our multimode fibers
